Parents with Prospects is the name of the training programme and work book which provides the evidence for the accredited qualifications:
This qualifications are designed specifically with parents-to-be, parents, partners, and step parents in mind.
The material is relevant to the lifestyles of today and reflects the challenges parents face in today's world.
Experience from our national programmes shows that we need to respond to comments, particularly from the parents involved and the tutors delivering the material. This involvement keeps our resources up todate and in line with today's young parents and their lifestyles.
The Parents with Prospects training programme is accredited either as a Qualifictions and Credit Framework (QCF) Qualification or as a Cusomised Training Award by Edexcel. These are two models of delivery using different work books. These two models ensure that the resources are flexible and may be used by providers from Children's Centres to College provision.
